We normally moderate all comments on our chats / Q&A's. We are not sure how many people we're going to have tonight so we aren't sure how that will work out. Please be patient with us.

The purpose of tonight's chat is discuss YA Fiction...
It’s no secret that YA books have grown in popularity with teens, tweens and adults of all ages. With that popularity comes more scrutiny – it has been said that some YA contains immoral themes that could negatively influence young readers. We want to hear from YOU young and old, YA Lovers, Readers, Writers, Editors (etc). Are you influenced by the storylines and relationships you read about? Is it an author's responsibility to write role models and teach good morals? Is it the Readers responsibility to separate fiction from reality?? Is it a parent's responsibility to monitor what their kids are reading??
It is our hope that we will be able to follow up in the days and weeks to come with more discussion. We are looking forward to a great chat!
